Terms of Service

Welcome to MarryBase. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and MarryBase ("MarryBase," "we," "us," or "our") and govern your use of marrybase.com and the MarryBase apps and services (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Who can use MarryBase

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account and organize an event. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity that happens under your account.

Your account

Keep your login credentials secure and let us know promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You're responsible for the content and guests you add to an event you organize.

Plans, pricing, and payments

• Free for guests. Guests can RSVP and participate in an event at no cost.
• Wedding Pass. Premium organizer features are available through a one-time Wedding Pass purchase. It is a one-time charge, not a recurring subscription.
• Prices are shown at checkout and may change for future purchases. Payments are handled by a third-party processor.
• Except where required by law, purchases are non-refundable.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you add to the Service — event details, photos, song requests, and messages ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, store, display, and process Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service and to coordinate your event. You're responsible for having the rights to the content you upload.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, or abusive.
• Upload content that infringes others' rights or that is obscene or hateful.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Use the Service to send spam or to harvest others' personal information.

Automated content screening

To help keep the guest photo wall appropriate, MarryBase can use automated content screening (an AI moderation service) to check uploaded photos before they appear. This screening is automated and may occasionally be inaccurate — flagged photos are held for an organizer to review, and organizers remain responsible for the content shared on their event.

Third-party services

The Service may link to or rely on third-party services (such as payment and email providers). We're not responsible for third-party services, and their terms and privacy practices apply to your use of them.

Availability and changes

We work hard to keep the Service available, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, or discontinue features over time.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or be error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MarryBase will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could cause harm. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
